Lecturers are an Inexpendible Asset to the UC System

I’m Moe Miller, a fourth-year transfer student at UCLA majoring in English and minoring in Social Thought. Some of the most engaging and experimental courses I’ve taken at UCLA have been taught by lecturers. Some of these courses are: Woman in Question with Professor Wilhelm, Butch-Femme Worlds in LGBTQ Lit. with Professor Alarcón, The Frankfurt School, taught by Professor Branstetter, and Russian Sci-Fi with Professor O’Dell. I will never forget what they have taught me in and out of the classroom, and they— among all lecturers— deserve job security from their employer. Solidarity.
